Volunteer Fire Department of St. Louis, 1888-1906

St. Louis, like many communities, had volunteer firemen. They formed the Veteran Volunteer Firemen’s Historical Society, which included members from 1888 to 1906. The History of the Volunteer Fire Department of St. Louis Illustrated is available at Missouri Historical Society.
