Although the Society's main research collection is housed by St. Louis County Library Special Collections, we have an extensive collection of records on microfilm and microfiche at the Society Office

Microfilm

In addition to film reels of public records, the microfilm collection contains family records provided by members and friends. These include family histories, family genealogies, bible records, church and school records, and newspaper records.

Microfiche

The microfiche collection at the Society office includes cemetery, probate, library catalog, and other records.

Viewing the Resources

Several microfilm and microfiche viewers are available for visitor use. If you are unfamiliar with how to operate any of these machines, please ask one of our volunteer staff for assistance. A microfilm-microfiche reader/printer is also available. The cost of printing is 25 cents per page.
