This free event is open to everyone.

In early December of each year since 2005, the St. Louis Genealogical Society has sponsored a pre-holiday Book Jamboree as a community service to the public. Several local authors are on hand to sign their history-and locally-themed books. Genealogical and historical organizations around the greater St. Louis area present their publications to the public.

State and local history books and items of military interest are also on sale. Additional items include resources for how to conduct genealogical research, publications geared to specific interests, such as St. Louis cemeteries, CDs of out-of-print books, and many volumes on St. Louis area history.

The Book Jamboree provides a wonderful opportunity to browse and purchase gifts for those looking for genealogical and historical resources for the holiday season.

Everyone attending this regional Book Jamboree will be entered into a drawing for one or more attendance prizes. This event is free and open to the public. As of now, here are the authors and their books scheduled to be with us on Sunday, 2 December 2012:
