Monthly Meetings

The meetings, co-sponsored by the St. Louis Genealogical Society and the St. Louis County Library, are held at the St. Louis County Library Headquarters auditorium and are open to the public. Google Map to the Library

Program Topics

The program topics and speakers will be announced in the newsletter and on the society website. There are usually no meetings in April (because of the annual Family History Conference) or in December (because of the holidays).

These meetings provide:

• speakers who are experts in their field
• information that will be helpful in your research
• opportunities to meet with others of similar specific interests
• suggestions and guidance toward solving family history problems

Speaker Handouts

Most of the speakers for our Monthly General meeting provide a handout for their presentation. That handout is the copyrighted material of each speaker and is not the property of the St. Louis Genealogical Society. Persons who are unable to attend the meeting may request a copy of any handout by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) to the Society office at:

With the speaker’s permission, we will send you a copy of their handout for a period of up to one month following their presentation.
